Background: Throughout my university career, I was often tasked to create videos to submit as part of an internship application, an assignment, or term project. These videos would then be posted to YouTube for a convenient viewing experience. For each video I produced, I always planned out a project timeline to ensure I’d meet my deadlines on time and make the content creation process go as smoothly as possible. These steps would include researching the about the subject beforehand, storyboarding so I’d have an idea of what scenes I’d need to film at the site, and generating a rough draft of the script. After all the assets were filmed and recorded, I would edit everything together using either Adobe Premiere Pro or iMovie. Moving forward, I hope to continue improving my project management, storytelling, and editing skills on future projects.
